  Tucked away in a wooded area, this McMenamins is a treasure. It's full of eclectic and quirky art, rustic furniture and even some boho vibes with hanging plants and unique light fixtures adding fun touches to the decor. We got to warm ourselves at a table near the fireplace, and our waiter was friendly and helpful. We had a great time, delicious food, and already I'm wanting to get an opportunity to go back again soon.

  They got rid of hot dogs which I absolutely loved. I'm very disappointed. And lately every time I order fries they have way too much salt. Previously they usually had the perfect amount. I really enjoyed it there back before they changed the menu and salt usage.

  I've been to this location twice. The location and decor are incredibly cozy and rustic, in a great way! The food was also good both times. However, the service was pretty bad. The first time, our server was rude and dismissive. The second time our server spilled water on our table and didn't clean it up, didn't know which beers were available to be part of a beer flight (resulting in him delivering the wrong ones after I ordered it), and took a VERY long time to bring food/drinks.
  I really want to love this place as it's a wonderful location, had great live music, and serves good food. However, the bad experiences with service, combined with the fact that they are the only location I've been to that doesn't offer Happy Hour on the weekends (although they still give you a Happy Hour menu) will keep me from going back. We LOVE our McMenamins Happy Hour!

  Rock Creek Tavern has the McMenamins feel that you get at all their properties. Rock Creek is snuggled off the beaten path. The building is rustic and comfortable. There are also several decks and patios for the few beautiful days we get in the north west.
